The bottom line is clear and we all are aware of the fundamental role and part of SMEs in the economic fabric of developing countries. However, the biggest constraint to SME growth in developing countries is the difficulty to access financing. The tight lending structure has created an unfavorable SME lending market that impedes SME growth and imposes negative consequences for innovation, economic growth and macro-economic resilience in these countries.
