Fixing The Sims 4 After an Update: My Post-Patch Routine

So it just came to my attention that infants are completely useless without the new upcoming expantions. I saw some videos that reviewed infants for base game and they all showed a changing table, a playmat and even infants milestones.

I don't know why I thought they would make infants milestones basegame, but it seemed logical since without them babies can't really do anything and they are stuck in this useless crying form that depends completely from you. Like, they are customizable newborns, which they didn't even take out but updated in terms of texture.

Wasn't the main attraction for infants that they developer taste and personality and skills???

Am I supposed to buy a 40 dollars/euros expansion with a new empty world (which honestly was not needed) just to add some gameplay to a new life stage that I personally didn't even care for???

This growing together could have been a fucking gamepack based on gameplay, sorta like Seasons was! Even that should have been a gamepack. Like Werewolves came out more complete than this update, and at least it was 20 bucks and people who didn't want werewolves in their gameplay could skip this pack; instead now it feels like I'm almost forced to buy Growing Together if I want some kind of fun with this silly new life stage, when honestly they could have made toddlers better, they could have more interactions with some expansion and packs.
