WHY WOULD YOU ASK ME THIS 😭😭😭😭 I HATE THEM ALL 😭😭😭

1) Kick them out of bed-Eadred cause fuck that man, I’m not cuddling him.

2) Let them stay to cuddle-it has be Aethelred because he is NOT meeting my family, this is purely a physical transaction (as much as I hate that)

3) Introduce them to friends & family-ugh, Aemond. I actually think he would benefit from being around people who don’t judge and once he let go of his weird “I must be seen as this way” mentality, he’d thrive around my friends and family

Who: Eadred Also Known As: Edred Where: England Succeeded: His brother, Edmund I Reigned: 26 May 946 – 23 November 955 Born: 923, Wessex Died: 23 November 955 (aged 31–32), Frome, Somerset Buried: Old Minster, Winchester.  His bones are now in Winchester Cathedral. Consorts/Children: Eadred didn't marry and had no children.

Eadred Facts! Eadred was Edmund I's brother (and Athelstan's half-brother).

Anglo-Saxon Chronicles D and E for 946 record that Eadred "reduced all the land of Northumbria to his control; and the Scots granted him oaths that they would do all that he wanted".  It didn't necessarily go all his way however.  Despite confusion as to the exact chronology, there continued to be Scandinavian claims to Northumbria[1]. Eadred appears to have suffered from digestive problems which ended up killing him.

Today's topic is Eadred. Did you know...? King Eadred responded harshly to the northern defectors by launching a destructive raid on Northumbria, which notably included burning the Ripon monastery founded by St.

Clement's Day), 955, at Frome (Somerset), and was buried in the Old Minster at Winchester. 10 He died a bachelor, and was succeeded by Edmund's son Eadwig. After a number of successful operations elsewhere, he came to Northumbria and appears at some point to have set himself up as king. Although his forces sustained heavy losses in the Battle of Castleford (as he returned home), Eadred managed to check his rival by promising the latter's supporters even greater havoc if they did not desert the foreign prince. The Last Will and Testament of Alfred the Great

Alfred the Great (871-899) and Eadred (946-955) are the only Anglo-Saxon kings whose wills have survived to the present day, both of which are found in the same manuscript, British Library Additional MS 82931, known as the Liber de Hyda.

He was fun to put together-- and it's rare for my eyepatched creations to be missing their left eye. I am always yanking out the right. 

Anyway this is Eadred. A king who refuses to wear his crown. I am hoping to put him into something a friend of mine will hopefully work on. If not I will just draw him now and again. He doesn't really have a place in any of my own stories... yet.
