A, B, C, and D are a group of campers who are our for a weekend excursion in the woods. All goes well on the first night, until it comes time to pack up and go home, upon which they realize they’re hopelessly lost. Fighting their unease, they pack up and shoulder their bags, quick in trying to leave the woods.
Only to realize that they aren’t alone.
As night falls, the noises coming from the woods draw closer and closer to the wanderers, their fear growing by the second until- D lets out a shrill scream as something massive grabs them around the waist and pulls them out of sight. The noise of a wet gulp causes the group to sprint headlong in the opposite direction.
The footsteps are deafeningly loud, and A pushes forward, narrowly missing getting grabbed. However, B and C aren’t as lucky, and A ducks into the bushes to hide, looking up in terror at the silhouette of a huge creature as it swallows them both whole.
A almost gets away, but a branch snapping beneath them gives away their location to a very hungry E. Kicking and screaming, they’re gulped down by E and join their friends in E’s belly... only to find that everyone’s fine.
B, C, and D explain to A that E only wanted to help them, and that it’s perfectly safe inside of their belly. E is bashful when they agree, promising to let them out in the morning.
The swallowed four agree, faling asleep to the noise of E’s powerful heartbeat and the gentle rocking around them as E walks on.
