If they were genuinely concerned about your well-being, they'd message you and gently try to explain that they think what you're doing is dangerous.

If they cared, they would be trying to de-escalate the situation, not make a public spectacle of it. I've actually dealt with grooming cases in the past, the worst possible thing you can do in those situations is attack or distress the victim, that only makes them confide more in their abuser/dangerous environment more.

If these grown ass adults genuinely think you're being groomed or just in a generally dangerous environment, they either;

don't care and just want attention/to fulfill some holier than thou moral conquest to feed their savior complex

i’ve been in this exact situation before a few years ago and i swear it does more harm than good yknow? and guess what! it actually made it easier for my groomer to groom me.

basically because i felt like everyone was against me, it was easier for him to groom me because i thought he was the only person who truly loved me and its genuinely sickening when i look back on it and think.
