Massive Bald Eagle Nest Replica

This life-sized replica of a bald eagle's nest was constructed in 2017 at Hueston Woods State Park, Ohio. Measuring 2 meters wide and 1 meter tall, it gives a sense of the incredible scale of these nests. The largest ever recorded, found in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1963, was nearly 3 meters wide and an astonishing 6 meters deep.

I had to sketch them- ballpoint pen, faber-castell pitt artist brush pens, & prismacolor color pencils

Deer Isle Thorofare Light with nesting bald eagles. Located on Mark Island, which is also a wildlife refuge, maintained by the Island Heritage Trust.
