Here are the early storyboards I did for my third animation assignment. Originally, there were going to be more snakes (the blobs in the jar), and they were going to move back and forth, until I realised that you don’t have to push both sides for an object to rock back and forth (like, you only push a swing, not push and pull). So that helped simplify the animation. And I shortened it a bit by removing the part where the snake presses on the lid to fit the animation into the time limit.
The other images are the coloured snakes I made when there were going to be more (but I forgot to remove the watermark when I rendered it), and some early tests for what a lolly snake texture/material might look like.
