Alastor started to chuckle at the ridiculous statement. Then he turned his head to say something but then his face was gently grabbed. He blinked and ears flattened back in a rare bashful moment.

"You silly little picture box." He wouldn't admit it but that was smooth. "I think if I'm your whole world you'd have to pick me up to make that statement true."

Cassian added a new snippet of knowledge to his mental stock of experiences every day. On this particular day, he opened a new and painful file called Never Underestimate the Strength of a Droid nearly a Meter Taller than You Are.

After being sent flying into the nearest surveillance console, Cassian picked himself up, forced breath into his lungs again, and hurled the behavioural inhibitor toward the Imperial’s exposed universal socket interface. It may not be an Adul-8, but it was loaded with a modifier virus and would temporarily overload and circumvent -

Approaching footsteps resounded just as the K-2 unit powered down, and Cassian was faced with another issue. How to get a partially-functioning Imperial droid out of the outpost and onto the streets. And recoded as his own. A solution evolved quickly with a few blaster shots and shucking off his own clothing, ducking into the too-baggy and still-warm accoutrements of the dead man.

A quiet whirring sound was beginning to emit from the K2′s main servo, oculars beginning to glow once again by the time he made it over to the droid and locked the inhibitor around its neck. “On your feet,” Cassian wheezed. “Come with me. You need… maintenance.”

   Pancakes were on the menu that morning, and as Suga flipped the last one into a plate he grabbed some condiments before placing everything on a tray and walking up to Tsukishima’s room. Daichi had told him all about the night before, and he was glad that the three of them were able to start off on a more or less fresh slate. Things still did feel a little strange and foreign between them, but Suga hoped those feelings would pass within a few days. For now he’d just kill Tsukishima with kindness. And the kindness for today was in the form of breakfast in bed. Just don’t tell anyone that it was all Daichi’s idea and Suga was being more or less forced into it.

   Suga lightly knocked on the other Omega’s bedroom door before slowly pushing it open. “I brought you something to eat.” He confessed with a soft smile, something that felt strange to send Tsukishima’s way. “And I promise they’re good, my pancakes always are.”

Harper couldn’t believe it. He was finally getting off of this planet. Wasn’t that what he wanted? To be picked up, lifted off to somewhere new? But these armored soldiers, Stormtroopers, they were apparently called, gave him the chills. Why had he been chosen to join them? He looked around the ship as they took off and saw several other new recruits staring back at him.

Brother and Sister

'Sister, sister, go to bed!

Go and rest your weary head.'

Thus the prudent brother said.

'Do you want a battered hide,

Or scratches to your face applied?'

Thus his sister calm replied.

'Sister, do not raise my wrath.

I'd make you into a mutton broth

As easily to kill a moth!'

The sister raised her beaming eye

And looked at him indignantly

And sternly answered, 'Only try!'

Off to the cook he quickly ran.

'Dear Cook, please lend a frying-pan 

To me as quickly as you can.'

'And wherefore should I lend it to you?'

'The reason, Cook is plain to view.

I wish to make an Irish stew.'

'What meat is in that stew to go?'

'My sister'll be the contents!'

                               'Oh!'

'You'll lend the pan to me, Cook?'  

                               'No!'
