Here we go!

I was admitted to the hospital around 8 pm to induce labor! The labor and delivery ward has been extremely busy so it's taken several hours for my process to really get started. I didn't receive my Cervidex (medication to thin and soften out my cervix) until about 12 am. It's now 2:15 and I'm beginning to feel mild cramping and major back pain while my mom sleeps peacefully on the recliner beside me. I'll get my first dose of Pitocin to start labor at 9 am. Hopefully this angel can be delivered quickly and safely! I'm only 37 weeks and 1 day pregnant but having to deliver now because of serious hypertension complications. I've decided to get the epidural. I'm praying that there won't be an emergency c-section. I just want this to be over with. My biggest problem is how badly this hospital bed is making me hurt. Pansy!!!!
