If you're like me, your schedule doesn't jibe with EarlyWord's excellent GalleyChat hour on Twitter (the first Tuesday of every month, under the hash tag #ewgc).
Lucky for us, Robin Beerbower, readers’ advisor and homebound services coordinator for the Salem Public Library (OR), will offer regular synposes of these prepublication book buzzfests. The first of her efforts is above. Thank you, Robin and Nora.
Use it in connection with LibraryReads.

Last night during dinner with one of my oldest friends, I asked if she’d heard that E.L. Konigsburg had died, she said, “Oh no! You don’t know what she meant to me.” And I didn’t. I only know what she meant to me.

EarlyWord No. 2389-LOVE ONE ANOTHER
An Ohio legislator wants to limit interstate highway usage to the right lane except when passing and in a few other circumstances. The idea might have some merit, in rural areas where traffic light and there are only two lanes.
Interstate travel is a slice of life. We must always be dealing with one another. Some of us regularly seek advantage over others. Those who go too slow can be as much of a problem a those who go too fast. Things happen even when we’re careful.
The old way of dealing with these circumstances was to have a law for each one. Check out the book of Leviticus in the Old Testament. There are over 600 laws. The new way, Jesus’ way, is to show love and respect for one another.
The highway of life has many laws and rules. Love one another is the best one.
