Two things: firstly, a love letter to ears, with their strange shapes and folds and bones and unusually squishy bits and weird veins (like mine). Did you know your ear is as unique to you as your fingerprint? I think the #curatedear has never been more prominent than now, with ears often holding our masks, earphones, piercings, glasses… truly a good limb isn’t it.

Secondly, an ode to a renewed love for listening which has come about from clubhouse of all places. it’s such a buzz to have real conversations with real people and not be staring at a pixelated version of my own face. Speaking is okay but listening, really hearing other people’s experience, is entirely underrated

How long are your ears?

Velvet blinked for a moment and looked up at the ears atop her head as best as she could manage. "Hm... That's... A good question," she mumbled softly. She shuffled off for a few moments and found a ruler and a mirror. After a few moments of counting the ticks on the ruler in the mirror, she made her way back. "Looks like about a foot and a half, give or take!"
