I kinda love Korra struggling with airbending. Airbending is about going with the flow, balance, creativity, and peace. Korra is hot headed and straightforward, she’s impulsive and doesn’t think before she speaks. It’d be so easy to make a water tribe avatar struggle with firebending, but Aang didn’t struggle with earthbending because he was an air nomad. He struggled with earthbending because it was opposite his nature.

Korra has been sheltered her whole life from the world, essentially a prisoner. Being a truly free spirit is totally foreign to her. It completely makes sense she’d struggle, and sets up airbending as tied to republic city itself.

ok i DO love korra with all the probending stuff but it’s just now occurring to me how funny it is like can you imagine waking up one day and reading in the paper that jesus became a professional athlete

Reunion is such a beautiful episode, one of my favorites. It's full of so much delicious Korrassmi tension.

- THE HUG

- "I love the hair!" "Thanks, you're looking snazzy as always. "

- THE BLUSH + HAIR PULL

- Asami bringing up the letter, Korra being concerned about Asami getting in touch with her father. Bonus: "You don't get to disappear for 3 years and then tell me what's best for me!" "I didn't mean to be gone that long" - THE DRAMA AND ANGST

- Mako's "What's going on with you two?" - this is such an underrated question!!! it's all "hey audience, are you paying attention to these two??"

- Korra and Asami ignoring Mako during the car chase and syncing with each other

- Korra gently helping Asami during the train scene twice

- Korra holding onto Asami's waist when she aid bends them all off the train. Her sigh of relief after seeing she is ok when they land

- Another HUG!
