Earth CS-2: Let's Cure It, We're Running Out Of Time
*As forces go, it wasn't the worst Erik had ever been a part of. They were highly trained, there was no doubt of that. And small in number. And desperate. All circumstances he was comfortable with.*
*He did not trust a single one of them, and kept himself apart because of that. He knew that as soon as this battle was over and Osborn's regime broken, the old patterns would reassert themselves and this alliance would shatter. He knew this as surely as he knew which direction the sun would rise, or exactly what percentage of the transport plane's construction was comprised of metallic alloys that he could manipulate.*
*mutters to self* Sixty-eight point five. Strange. That seems low.
-Sue Storm glances at him- "Did you say something?"
*He smiles and pats her hand* Forgive me, I was calculating an angle of trajectory for... *laughs and waves his hand* Distracting myself. You know how it is.
-Sue is unconvinced, but decides not to press the issue and just nods.- "It looks like we're here, we should get ready for the drop".
*Erik puts on his helmet and takes a deep breath before letting it out slowly, and lines up with the others to prepare for the jump*
