Earth CS2: Siege

*When the Avengers arrive at Asgard, where it now exists in Broxton, Oklahoma, there is already chaos. This city still stands, but there is fighting in ever quarter. Even as they look on, there is a dull booming sound and a tower falls, something streaking through the air*

*Jan's gone small, hovering in the air, taking in the scene* Vision, you're the best here at analyzing the situation. I need you relaying information. We've got to know who's here and where the -

*there is a loud cracking noise and a plume of dust and debris thrown up into the air* *the figure pauses long enough for Jan to get a good look in, even from a distance*

Never mind. Found him.

Earth CS2: In the time you've been away

*Janet has made a space for herself in one of the ever-changing common rooms in the mansion* *while she has successfully found some clothing that fits and does not include the words “Hot Bagel Enterprises” emblazoned across the front, she is fully aware that she is likely to end up in a combat situation again soon. Now that her side of this conflict has been made clear to Osborn and now that her daughter is safe, Jan has no reason to stay out of the fight*

*she has also really missed being an Avenger*

*while she had completely forgotten to have Hank store any normal clothing for her or Sarah, she hadremembered to make sure he had particle treated fabric* *she has managed to find herself a sewing machine and is working on putting together an new uniform* *give Jan a few hours alone in a room with some fabric, and she can work wonders*

Earth CS2: Drown when I see you

*it has been some time now that the Vision has been waiting in the ruined streets of Genosha. It is quiet here, only the sound of the wind. An abandoned city, but there are small plants springing up in the cracks in the street* *an abandoned city, but maybe not a dead one*

*it has been one hour and fifteen minutes, and he is considering going after them, regardless of consequences, when he hears approaching footsteps and looks up*

Earth CS2: Long and Winding Road

*after a lot of arguing - which went something along the lines of "no, you can't go meet your future self, and no you can't bring Vision with you" followed by some very pointed rebuttals - Pietro agrees to take them to this timeline's Wanda* *in a flash, they arrive, Lockjaw none too pleased to be escorting them again* *Crystal is starting to get suspicious about why Pietro has been taking the dog so much lately*

*They arrive in the ruins of a city. The shells of crumbling builds rise around them, and the streets are strewn with rubble. It looks like a grave*

*Pietro turns to Wanda* Well. This is where you wanted to go.

Earth CS2: For every action, an opposite

*Sarah is in one of the common rooms - one of them, because, like it has been said before, infinite mansion - with Deedee* *the Helhound, who Sarah had been ecstatic to see again, is now much bigger, having grown over the last sixteen years. As immortal creatures go, she's not a full adult helhound yet, but she's getting there, and her head comes up to Sarah's shoulder when they're both standing*

*For now, though, Deedee is sprawled on the ground letting Sarah scratch her belly* *Sarah, for her part, is still trying to distract herself from what happened to her mom* *she's wearing most of the clothes she had been wearing when she fled her house - they've been washed - as well as one of Danielle Cage's sweatshirts. She's trying not to think about the fact that it's Danielle's sweatshirt, but that's kind of hard because it smells like her, and that's really nice, and Sarah doesn't exactly want to give it back, and it's also probably really good that Danielle isn't around right now because Sarah would probably have gone bright red.*

*the sweatshirt is nice*

*yeah*

*anyway, Sarah is sitting on the ground next to Deedee, idly petting her, and the helhound looks very sleepy and content*

Earth CS-2, Flashback: The Price We Might Pay

*Sigyn never saw the point in strollers. They had one for Arngunnr, of course. A remarkably elaborate contraption, and reinforced for the child's considerably above-average weight. But Sigyn herself found the thing cumbersome and irritating. When she was raising her sons, she never had need for such things. And so she carries her granddaughter in a sling, close to her breast.*

*Of course, nearly everybody assumes that the baby is her daughter, and every time she is forced to correct the assumption there is a momentary pause followed by a look of deep disdain.*

*Sigyn finds it harder and harder to sympathize with the plight of the mortals under Osborn's despotic rule.*

*She finally reaches her destination, a small outdoor coffee shop in the park, and waits for Wanda. She hopes that her friend is doing better than the last time they had a chance to meet.*

*She sips her coffee and bounces her granddaughter on her knee, singing softly in Aesir as Arngunnr giggles and waggles her chubby arms.*

Earth CS2: Too many twins (and one robot)

*They travel by way of Lockjaw - the dog serves the royal family of the Inhumans, and Pietro is currently counted as one of them* *yeah, Pietro is technically royalty right now*

*it only takes a moment for them to travel - they are in the Wundagore mountains one instant, and then the next they are back in America, in a suburb filled with nice little houses with nice little fences and carefully sculpted lawns*

*it is midmorning, and many of the driveways are empty of cars, most people at work* *thankfully, no one is outside when they arrive - a giant dog, two mutants, and one robot makes for a pretty interesting group*

*Pietro glances at his sister and her possibly future husband - if her timeline plays out the same way - and then looks to one of the houses* You two stay here. I'm going to go and see if the boys are around. We don't want to startle them too much. *he darts off towards the house, though not at super speed. Just a normal human walking fairly quickly down the street, definitely not a mutant with superspeed*

*this leaves Wanda and Vision all alone. Well, save for Lockjaw, who settles down on the grass beneath a tree and looks very put out about this whole thing*

Earth CS2: Perhaps not the best idea they ever had

*here are several things that are true:

*Vision runs at least partially off of solar energy, though some of that has been replaced with arc reactor technology over time.*

*The Infinite Mansion, for all of its innovations, does not have a sun anywhere in the vicinity*

*The Infinite Mansion can also open to many places on Earth*

*Earth, as you well know, has a sun*

*Therefore, Vision occasionally must leave the mansion simply to "charge his batteries," as some of his charming teammates have taken to calling it*

*This is also true:

*Wanda is still worried about her brother. An understandable reaction, given his condition when she last saw him*

*And this, too, is true:

*Vision knows how to get into contact with Pietro. Unfortunately, they cannot meet in the Infinite Mansion*

*Which all of these premises deemed true, that only leads to one logical conclusion:

*Vision and Wanda must leave the mansion if she wishes to see her brother*

*This is another good conclusion to draw from all of this:

*This is probably a really really bad idea*

*Still, they manage to get out of the mansion. The meeting place is, also, not in America, and so far Osborn's influence does not stretch that far*

*The Wundagore mountains are an acceptable alternative meeting place*
