Tip: How to get creative

1. Pick some music that gives you some kind of emotion (depending on what emotional setting you creative output needs to be). Play the music and write down (or remember) every thought that comes to mind while listening to your chosen music. Music can change the way you think and what you feel at that moment.

2. If you like scents, pick a fragrance (maybe perfume) you love the most or which gives you a certain feeling. Fragrance can often help us get inspired. Use it, then try getting creative. The fragrance will put you in a different mood, just by smelling it.

3. Write down keywords for your creative project. Before you try to come up with anything by yourself, search the internet with your keywords. Copy and paste every bit of information you find interesting, any image, or even videos and place them in 1 document or image. This will get you alot of possibilities and ideas.

4. Use input from other people. Try to brainstorm together. Often, more minds will come up with greater things than just one.

5. Go outside of your comfort zone. Being creative at a different place than you regularly do can give you great insight and ideas, especially if the location is not a place where you go often.

As you can see, most of these creativity tips come down to using all of your senses: your nose, your ears and your eyes. We create emotions by using our senses and emotions are the fuel of the creative mind!
