Was able to get out into the forest this past weekend and forage! Brought home a bountiful harvest of Chanterelles, aka Cantharellus cibarius ✨
Wild Chanterelles are absolutely delicious, and amazing in just about everything.
I will be posting a couple Chanterelle recipes over the weekend, so look out for them if you are interested! 💛

Spring is here.
Remember to stay mindful and present in these trying times. Now is a great time to stay busy in the garden. If you don’t have a garden, a window sill is a great place to start. Sow some seeds. Share starts with your neighbors. Share your harvests when you can. You reap, what you sow. Let’s root eachother on, and help eachother grow.

Hydnellum peckii, an inedible fungus, and a member of the genus Hydnellum of the family Bankeraceae. Although, it is not considered poisonous, it is considered inedible due to it’s extremely bitter taste.
Also known as Bleeding Tooth or Devil’s Tooth. A creepy, yet incredibly cool fungus to find this time of year. 🦷
