Happy Easter everyone,

Today we have beautiful sunshine, so its egg races and Easter egg hunts in the garden. We have baked a few hot cross buns with the kids, and prepped a leg of lamb for our roast dinner later. Hope you have a great Easter Sunday and make lots of fun memories with your littles ones too.

Easter Cake

I made this cake for Easter and it turned out so pretty!  I was inspired by The Cake Blog, whose cake was gorgeous!  Everyone loved it and was so surprised.  But it was so easy to do.  Just do what she says and cover your work area!  I used my vanilla cake recipe, buttercream icing and instead of the chocolate mixture she used, I melted 1/2 square of chocolate with 1 tablespoon of butter and…
