Tech had heard one in a while from a few pseudo scientist of some sort of energy source feeding off of the collective minds of childrens belief. He really hadn’t believed it at first, like most pseudoscience, but as he heard more from his colleague he became more interested. This lasted for a few weeks, tech learning more and more until the day that his friend vanished after telling tech he had made a break trough.

He had given it a day before finally going over to their home and letting himself in to try and find out had happened. He kept going through the house until he found the lab area, full of notes and drafted designs for a machine. It looked to be the machine standing in the middle of the room. A large spherical object, with a computer on the side for calibrations and a dial on the front of it, next to a door. From what he could read of the notes they all spoke of bringing the avatar of these children’s belief into a single place instead of spread amongst the children’s minds.

The dial on the front showed an elongated hexagon. After looking at the machine for a few moments he read through it’s logs, showing that it had been activated yesterday using the hexagon shape shown on the dial. Frowning Tech walked back to the front and pressed in the hexagon hoping that it would perhaps summon back his friend. Instead he was faced with an error screen on the computer. 

Thinking for a few moments the coyote reread the notes, a few of them showing a symbol looking quite similar to the insoluble symbol between the Hexagon and the triangle on the dial. With the hope that perhaps the symbol meant that they were opposing forces and could be used to bring his friend back Tech turned the dial to the triangle and pressed it in, a high pitched whine emitting from the device. Slowly a form began to take shape in the machine, at the same time Tech could almost feel his hopes for his friend being alive falling apart.

Over the next minute the thing took shape into something quite similar to Ace, another anthro rabbit, although much taller. The machine kept drawing in energy and forming this being until at last he full materialized into a six foot one rabbit in robes inside of the machine.

Trick stood there for a moment, head turning to look and see if there had been anyone watching before her gaze looked up at the Easter Bunny. “Well, no one has done that as a way to greet me before…” Her cheeks reddened and she looked away “so….. ummm.. what exactly was that for now?”
