These Easy Cake Mix Easter Bars are a quick and easy Easter treat. They're ideal for sharing with family and friends because they're made with a cake mix base and colorful toppings.
Ingredients: 1 box cake mix any flavor. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 large egg. 1 cup pastel-colored chocolate candies. 1/2 cup white chocolate chips. 1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut. 1/4 cup chopped nuts optional.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan. Put the cake mix, melted butter, and large egg in a mixing bowl. Mix everything together well. Evenly press the cake mix into the bottom of the baking pan that has been prepared. On top of the cake mix, sprinkle the pastel-colored chocolate candies, white chocolate chips, sweetened shredded coconut, and chopped nuts if using. Press the toppings into the cake mix gently to help them stick. After the oven is hot, bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. After taking the bars out of the oven, let them cool all the way down on a wire rack in the pan. Cut the bars into squares or rectangles after they have cooled down. Serve these tasty Easter bars and enjoy them!
