A rich and creamy fettuccine Alfredo that is easy to make in the Instant Pot. This is a great quick and comforting meal.
Ingredients: 8 oz fettuccine pasta. 2 cups chicken broth. 1 cup heavy cream. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 2 tablespoons butter. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish.
Instructions: Put the fettuccine noodles in the Instant Pot after cutting them in half. In the Instant Pot, put in the heavy cream, butter, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Also add the chicken broth. Put the lid back on and turn the valve so that it seals. For 8 minutes, cook on high pressure by hand. Do a quick release of pressure when the food is done cooking. Take off the lid and mix the fettuccine Alfredo really well. Change the mode to saut and cook for a few more minutes, stirring all the time, until the sauce is the right thickness. Serve hot with fresh parsley chopped on top.
