Köttbullar - Swedish Meatballs
Today's recipe I will be showing you a simple & easy way to make meatballs and gravy the Scandinavian way. I was taught by mormor (grandma) when she was still alive, and her meatballs and gravy were simply amazing. I will always remember her home cooked food, delicious and warms the soul. Here is the recipe :
Köttbullar/meatballs:
25 grams of butter
1 chopped onion
350 gm Ground meat (beef, moose, lamb, chicken etc) I use moose in this video
1/2 cup breadcrumbs or 54 gm
1 egg beaten
Salt & pepper
1 teaspoon Basil (optional)
Shape them into small meatballs and bake them for 15 minutes 180C /350F
Brown Sauce gravy:
50 gm butter
1 Tablespoon Soy sauce
1 cup beef stock (250ml)
1/2 cup water (150ml)
1/2 milk (150ml)
