These Slow Cooker Swedish Meatballs are tender, flavorful, and incredibly easy to make. Perfect for a cozy dinner any night of the week!
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup milk. 1/4 cup finely chopped onion. 1 egg. 1/4 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 1/4 tsp ground allspice. 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg. 1/4 cup beef broth. 1 cup heavy cream. 2 tbsp all-purpose flour. 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce. 1 tbsp Dijon mustard.
Instructions: In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, egg, salt, pepper, allspice, and nutmeg until well combined. Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place meatballs in the slow cooker. In a separate bowl, whisk together beef broth, heavy cream, flour, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard until smooth. Pour the sauce over the meatballs in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until meatballs are cooked through and sauce has thickened. Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
