Heya, can I ask why the Secret Santa has such a long word requirement? I realize nobody wants 2 pages, but sometimes (often for me) things just sort of happen and the story writes itself. I’d hate to add on 400 extra words I don’t need just to fit the criteria. Does that make sense? Sorry, not trying to come off as rude or disrespectful!

It’s no problem. Essentially, it’s so that there’s no one getting shafted by a story that’s low in word count. There’s just under thirty days to write, which is plenty of time to write 3000 words. However, if a lot of people think that’s too much, I can always bring it down.

Okay so from a writers perspective, I love the ending of part 45. You cut right as she won without giving us time to celebrate, which almost seems to me like what’s going on in Llane’s head. Like despite all the noise, it’s completely silent as she takes it all in, combined with her pain and exhaustion and adrenaline. Like her body is pausing to catch up. And maybe that wasn’t your intention at all and I’m just reading too much into it but whatever lol. Great job love. Amazing as always.
