If they ever make a season three of the seraph of the end anime they should make it 20~ episodes, stop at chapter 91 and shift the tone slightly towards horror tragedy.
#i will elaborate if asked#i want to reread that strech of chapters but in my memory its a little bit of a drag#it has all the downsides of down time with little of the positives#so i just think spending more time in the charecters heads and see whats going on with them will really help#everyone besides yu because they have a much more interesting perspective at that point#like this should be shinoa's and mika's season#and then its end is bitter sweet because shinoa's doing great but mika is dead#like let us hang out in shinoas head more as shes batteling for control with sika madu and show just how horrfying it is!#and then also show the torture mika is going through as guren and ferid isolate him and prepare for his death!#*grabs you by the shoulder and shakes* ferid showing akanes head was both a ploy to make the squad listen to him. show of the drug AND#make them distrust mika more!#when guren talks to mika before the battle and talks about how mika cant do anything alone and that he has no one#thats him gloating!!#imagine this getting portrayed as hirror!#the tension both these storylines would create could carry an otherwise weak arc until the big battle#and then you have to show mikas death as the culmination of the tragedy#in this part of the story our protagonists are helplessly stuck in others plans!#mika wants to run away time and time again but cant so he is stuck being a pawn in the plan and it kills him!#it was always meant to kill him!#and so many of the moves ferid and guren made were made to put him in the position they needed to kill him!!!#eats dirt#text post#original post#seraph of the end#seraph of the end manga
