I know I said that my scorpio venus makes me attached to my hoes but my virgo mars isn't completely innocent. I think why there are hoes I've kept and hoes that I've left is bc how useful they are to me. What good are they to me if they don't stay close to me? It doesn't matter if they're amazing at sex when I can't even scream in pleasure bc they live in a place where we have to keep quiet.

Realistic goals.

Is it an Autism thing to be 'practical?' For example: I'm studying abroad and about to go home (in just over 2 weeks). My mum asked me if I'm sad about leaving but I'm not. It was always the plan to return to my home country at the end. Yeah it would be nice to stay but it's hardly a surprise to go home.

This kind of approach seems to be fairly common, yes. :)

roood, waking up as celegorm is a dream and a delight

are we including the bitchy curufin, the flees in dog form, who knows what lives in his hair, and the fact that maedhros is probably furious with him?

My Dad’s oldest brother has Parkinson’s, just like Gramps did. It’s scary to see him shake, his eyes slightly glazed, and hearing his voice take on that same wheezing uncertainty as he searches for words.

I keep thinking about Gramps, and how he spent the last 2 years of his life an invalid. Stuck in bed, cared for by his tiny wife. He was in his 80s at that point, and had fought the disease every step of the way. He did his best to maintain his quality of life until the disease robbed him of even the ability to stand and walk. Everyone said it would have been more merciful if he had died in a horse accident or something 10-15 years earlier than he did. 

My uncle recently ended up sick in a hospital, and at first we weren't sure if he was going to make it. I felt bad for him, and I worried about my dad potentially losing his brother within a year of losing his mom... But my uncle isn’t like Gramps. He is a naturally lazy person and once he got his parkinson's diagnosis he just stopped trying. He doesn’t take care of himself, and his quality of life has tanked because of it. He is a burden to the whole family, especially my parents as he has been staying with them. He was living overseas with his wife, but after his diagnosis came back to the states for treatment, plus his wife is fighting cancer and doesn’t need the strain of trying to care for him in addition to trying to survive. I am honestly wondering if it would have been better for him to die now rather than have everyone watch him waste away over the next decade...
