Hiya! I'm sharing the party art I did for my Netherdeep group!
One of our fellow players, @negativenevets, commissioned me for the full party together!
Vivial and Ebris, Daughters of Andraste
“Later in life, Andraste proved predictions wrong and had two daughters by the Betrayer: Ebris and Vivial. They were kept out of the public eye and not permitted to marry, though both had consorts. Ebris had but one child, Alli Vemar, who perished on a voyage to Denerim—less than a month after her mother fell to plague, and without children of her own. The younger daughter, Vivial, was more controversial: a strong-headed woman who defied her family by falling in love with a mage of Tevinter, Regulan. Vivial and Regulan went into self-imposed exile as the Exalted March began, and into hiding following Andraste's betrayal and murder.”
If asks are still open...how much does fae culture different from human culture? Traditions, holidays, etc? Oh! I’ve also seen a grandmother for mc mentioned...where is she? Will we ever get to meet her?
Asks are pretty much always open. So never be nervous to send something in. I love interacting with you all. It’s one of my favorite things to do.
The Fae and humans have a lot of the same holidays-- Yule being one of them. However, where things start to differ is towards the pantheon of gods. Sort of like with Greek and Rome. However, all of the gods are still called the same thing.
Ebris, for example, is the god of fire. But the Fae also think of him as the god of poetry and the finer arts. Even though, in the human pantheon, there is Teius-- who is the god of poetry and the arts. So those things differ greatly which can change some of the holidays when in regards to celebrating the specific gods.
One of the main traditions that they have, that barely any human family does, is that on the night before Yuletide they’ll sit for an hour in silence to pray to the gods. They’ll also usually have a feast dedicated in their honor, which each dish representing one of the major gods in the pantheon.
As for the MCs grandmother? You will meet Yvette in the next chapter along with the rest of the family. In the first chapter, she wasn’t around because she had things to take care of but she’ll be present in chapter three.
Here's a bunch of stuff from the past couple months that I've been too lazy to post
The Party was really going through it that day. Keq hurt Halfryn bad but... they know it wasn't him in control. They don't hold it against him. but that's not how our lil' goblin buddy sees it. @harpersheroes
Dot just wanted their best friend to snap out of his fear and come back to them already. @pheenick but he's afraid he's gonna hurt them again. ALSO MEET OUR NEW PARTY MEMBER!!! ORPHEUS!! She's a Bloodhunter, Order of the Oneiroi, Palid Elf!!!! I think Keq and her are gonna get along just fine...@dndsaga
ALsoo here are some extra lill doodles from when I was trying to make the previous image... it isn't super nice but it makes me soft.
It's probably best to share a small lineup of the Wildlight crew, Our Call of the Netherdeep party. From left to right we have, Keq the Goblin Barbarian, Dot the "human" Rogue, Halfryn the Drow Cleric/Warlock, Ebris the Teifling Wizard/Warlock and Vanhorn the Half-Elf Ranger.
Keq loves them so much. Dot is his best friend, Halfryn is the mom of the group that keeps looking out for them when they get irresponsible, Vanhorn is basically his brother, and Ebris is the old man who keeps prestigitating the taste of soap in his mouth whenever he cusses.
Keq loves to spar and challenge strong and interesting people. That doesn't always mean he wins them though. After a very close match against Taskhand Verin Thelyss, Keq is excited to challenge him to a re-match once he practices some more. Verin was surprised at how Durable and tough this Goblin turned out to be. The rest of the group along with Verin's soldiers stood back and watched. Our Cleric/Warlock was a bit too focused on the Handsome Drow taskhand.
Meanwhile, our Rouge goes and does rogue things... I wonder if this will come up later.
