poonachi loved the pungent taste of onion caressing her tongue. even after she had eaten the bit, she would continue chewing with nothing in her mouth. the nanny goats and their kids would stare at her with a glint of envy in their eyes. poonachi would then perform a leap. in that leap was the boastful question: "do you all know the taste of an onion?"

i never thought i’d use ebullience to describe a character, much less a goat. it seemed too charming to use for anyone. but poonachi is ebullient.

the feeling that boils deep in the swirling sun that is your heart, a cacophony of golden tendrils that hold such an indescribable feeling of light. it’s excitement, it’s exhilaration, it’s the feeling achieved when viewing aureate-hued puppies scrambling around in a flurry of fur. it’s, above all else, bliss. the smile that creeps subconsciously onto your features at a swirling buildup in a song, because you know that the best part is coming. you know that beautiful things are on the way, and that brings a feeling that simply cannot be described without a beatific squeal or two.
