If you’re accustomed to watching the Popeye cartoons only, the original E.C. Segar comics are a bit of a different experience that I like better in some ways. There are some more slice of life scenarios. I paid tribute to that here. And yes, that’s how Popeye’s laugh is spelled out in the comics, making it especially suitable for my dog adaptation!
