New babies 🌵
After duty, I went to supermarket yesterday morning to buy cactus and succulents. Thought that i was early enough to pick the best ones but when i got there, they were all gone already. Luckily before going home, my dad took me to a cacsucc shop on the other way home so i still manage to have this new babies.
The difference between WHERE this succulent originally came in (a decorative pot the size of a shot glass, no drainage, only one row of leafs) vs how she looks NOW (2 months later). All the others that were left in the store (*coughWalgreenscough*) were dead a week after i got mine.
I really wish places like Walgreens, Home Depo, ect would educate their employees (especially Management) to let customers know that these are real living plants and not just “seasonal decor” or even toys, that later on gets shoved into the CLEARANCE aisle where even A MONTH or two later are still being sold (at the original price) in the store despite the plant already being dead.
i think this succulent has been getting lots of sun and no water for a while...
it looks like a artichoke, lol!
Succulentssss!
