Together in every universe <3
Bonus doodle cuz I thought it was funny.
Eclipse likes to call him “daddy” to be silly, Ace really hates it :b
Happy Father’s Day, Ace! Whether you want to celebrate it or not :b
You got that James Dean daydream look in your eye
And I got that red lip classic thing that you like
And when we go crashing down, we come back every time
‘Cause we never go out of style, we never go out of style
“Sorry for keeping you waiting”
“Oh it’s fine, I like standing here with my hands chained together…”
Yeahh their first meeting wasn’t exactly the best…
In the first chapter of the fic, after Rook is captured by the Rex Guardians, Aerrow manages to convince the council to let her go, on the condition that he and his friends rehabilitate her in a year. She is less than thrilled by the idea while he hopes he made the right decision.
Only time will tell…
Sprucing up some refs!
Changed up Eclipse’s design a bit, got rid of her collar and made her pants blue cuz I wasn’t feeling the brown.
Also finally made a ref for Rook’s “civilian” design. This is the outfit she wears when she’s first placed with the team. I like to think she made them buy her something nicer and more expensive because she didn’t want to wear something that was patched together, hence why it’s different from the rest of the team’s outfits.
“I’m not going to wear rags, do you know how important I am?”
Time for me to yap about stuff I’ve been thinking about.
I find it really funny that Ace raises Eclipse to be a terrible, selfish person and then the team has to essentially reparent her.
As a kid, she bossed everyone around and learned she could do whatever she wanted because as his apprentice, she outranked them. And on top of that, she was Anarchis’s most important creation. You couldn’t touch her.
So she very much has this superiority complex as a teen. “I can do whatever I want because I’m more important than you”, she even pushes this with Ace sometimes, at which point he reminds her who’s really in charge.
His mentality is very much “it’s funny when you do it to other people, but you can’t do that to me”.
Then when she meets the team she’s challenged for the first time in her life. Aerrow does *not* give her an inch and she’s just like “what? No, that’s not how this works!” It takes a while but she eventually learns to consider other people.
