Today I bring you a little peek into the future:
Context: This may take place during the great race where Sora enters illegally, or maybe some other year. Either way, they’re all around Aerrow’s skimmer.
Aerrow, holding a toddler aged Ryder over his skimmer as if he’s driving it: “it’s like I always say, it’s the *Ryder* not the ride”
Sora: “booo! Stop making puns with our brother!”
Eclipse: “he has to, Sora. Cuz your dad’s super lame and gave his son a pun for a name”
Xaria: “you named him that on purpose??!”
Aerrow: “aw come on, it’s a cool name”
Eclipse, nudging Sora: “you know he named you after the sky right?”
Sora, gasping in shock: “I’M NAMED AFTER THE SKY?!”
Her siblings laugh.
Ryder, looking up at his dad: “I like my name”
Aerrow smiles: “at least *someone* appreciates me”
Don’t think I can get a drawing done today but still wanted to wish everyone a happy 19th anniversary to Storm Hawks!! Forever my favorite show, happy to be a part of the small but awesome fandom! Thanks everyone for giving me a place to yap about my ocs and my blorbo Aerrow. Remember, the sky is never the limit!
Thought I’d share some of my Tomodachi Life shenanigans.
Heyo, it’s midnight, time for me to post lol.
Today’s thoughts are about Rook and Ace’s relationship.
I like how despite Ace’s attempts to keep her at arms length, they still kind of form a bond.
He sometimes brings her trinkets from the terras he visits, or tells her about his missions. She thinks he’s the coolest guy on Atmos so he’s more than happy to show off.
(I like to think him standing on his skimmer as he’s arriving on Cyclonia with the Aurora Stone was him trying to look cool for Rook)
Ace likes that she makes him feel important, something he’s wanted for a very long time, and although it weirded him out at first, he does like that she turned out so much like him.
He got his own little mini-me, even if it’s also a weird vampire wolf thing.
Struggling with insomnia so now I have ideas for Aerrow’s insomnia.
I wonder if he lays awake at night because his mind just keeps racing. Worries, ideas, plans just rush through all at once and if it gets late enough those worries start to spiral.
He usually tries to go to sleep before that happens.
If it gets bad he’ll sometimes get up and walk around, or stand out on the deck and let the wind and sky calm him down. A trait he passes down to Kato.
It’s best boy’s birthday today in my canon! Happy Birthday Aerrow! He’s 35 this year.
I meant to draw a couple more sketches but got hit with art block. I’ll have to post a sketch dump some other time.

Lmao, most of these rows would be fighting the whole flight. I’d want to sit next to Aerrow but I’d have to sit next to Ace too and as much as I like him, he scares me XD. I’d probably end up sitting next to Starling and Suzy Lu cuz they’re nice.

Christmas headcanon for you.
I think Aerrow’s a great gift giver. When he knows someone long enough, he knows exactly what they want.
He got his father’s eyes~
Had a lot of fun with this little exercise, definitely gonna continue with the other kiddos
Time for me to yap about stuff I’ve been thinking about.
I find it really funny that Ace raises Eclipse to be a terrible, selfish person and then the team has to essentially reparent her.
As a kid, she bossed everyone around and learned she could do whatever she wanted because as his apprentice, she outranked them. And on top of that, she was Anarchis’s most important creation. You couldn’t touch her.
So she very much has this superiority complex as a teen. “I can do whatever I want because I’m more important than you”, she even pushes this with Ace sometimes, at which point he reminds her who’s really in charge.
His mentality is very much “it’s funny when you do it to other people, but you can’t do that to me”.
Then when she meets the team she’s challenged for the first time in her life. Aerrow does *not* give her an inch and she’s just like “what? No, that’s not how this works!” It takes a while but she eventually learns to consider other people.
Since people in the Storm Hawks fandom have been talking about favorite food. I want to ask people with Storm Hawks OC's, what is your OCS favorite food? If you have multiple you can name everything single one. I'll like to hear you yap.
I'll start first. Moe's favorite food is apple pie or Apple's in general. Her people also like to eat crystal and gems so Moe likes to much on them to. Since joining the Storm Hawks she has been liking to snack on Ruby's. ( They taste like artificial cherry candy to her.) definitely not something having to do with a certain Red eyed co-pilot
Compas's favorite food is shepherds pie. His wife Evangeline used to make it for him when she was alive.
Eclipse’s favorite food is blood obviously, rabbit blood to be specific. She finds it kinda sweet and just gamey enough to be interesting. If she had to pick a regular food though, she’d go with chocolate.
Growing up, she always got chocolate when she did well in her training so she really really enjoys it.
Wait, vampires cannot eat meat?
Ye! Traditionally vampires can only drink blood and since they’re undead, they don’t need to eat food anymore. But I kind of changed that for my vampires.
My vampires are still living creatures, their vampirism is just more of a curse so they can still eat fruits, vegetables and fish but meat itself isn’t compatible with their bodies anymore.
Their body actively rejects it, which means they’ll always vomit it back up soon after they eat it.

Seeing people talk about Ace’s favorite food makes me think of the time Rook snuck a bite of his steak and then they both quickly realized why vampires can’t eat meat lol

I’ve thought about this before but the answer always eluded me. Cuz Aerrow strikes me as the kind of person that *likes* certain things but nothing stands out as his favorite. But then I thought, he really enjoys ice cream so I think he’d say that’s his favorite food.
Vanilla is his favorite flavor, don’t ask me why, I just decided it as a kid lol.
