It wasn't hard to remember the life that Krystal had before Eden, the life that seemed so perfect and beautiful. Those days were a sunny bright day compared to the days that she spent in Eden now. Sure, the days here weren't all bad; they were normal, minus the fact that literally everyone had a power. Krystal just sometimes missed the peaceful days of normalcy before the virus, when she got to spend time with her sister...
Shaking her head, Krystal tried to push that thought aside. Her parents had abandoned her, all because they believed she couldn't be cured. Better to get rid of the weak link than to tarnish their name, their reputation. Her thoughts began to drift towards other things, like her high school life... the one that was cut off so shortly with the appearance of the virus (no less, on her birthday). It was a sick and twisted sort of gift that the world had given her, really.
In high school, she could briefly remember a boy by the name of Minki. She remembered him because he was often teased by others for looking like a girl. Really, she had thought he had looked pretty, in an ethereal fairy-like way. Hell, he was good-looking, she didn't deny that. The others were just jealous.
Too deep and lost in her thoughts, Krystal wasn't exactly paying attention. Her headphones were clamped to her blonde dyed hair, and she was bopping her head along with the beat of the song. Only humming along and staring at her feet, she didn't notice she was in the path of someone else.
"Ooh, sorry! Didn't see you there," Krystal apologized, grinning sheepishly up at the person she had just bumped into.
