Idk if ive talked about him much or at all lmao. SO this is chai. He is a tiefling hehe :3 He's another of my husbands characters. Hes actually Edahn's complicated love interest. Actually hes also a paladin of Edahns once he ascends to godhood. They were best "friends" (so much mutual pining) when Edahn was a Deva and basically guiding Chai as a guardian angel. Then he just up and disappeared one night and chai went searching until he found god version Edahn. Chai then picks a virtue name, Hope, and abandons Malachai. Edahn had been calling him Hope as a nickname cause he would always remind him to "Hold onto hope". At one point he gets so fed up with it and Edahn, since he was radio silent even with him being a paladin, that he uh voluntarily takes a dirt nap. Edahn then pulls him into his realm and is like bitch no get back out there. Mr god resurrects him and leaves him with his blonde and a softly glowing brand basically on his chest signifying that Edahn chose him as his champion.
He is a blue tiefling (meta stop uh sumn) but he has basically reverse vitiligo where the black parts are. There are also more scars but hub hasnt decided where those ones are yet so HERES WHATS UNDER THEM :PPPP
OH so very unrelated to the design but Chai has a lisp >:3 its cause he has spiky teeth and a forked tongue so the Ss just dont S right hehe >:3

summary: Jahad was that one quiet kid at high school with very few friends. He didn’t really like it there, until one day everything changes when his teacher forces him to do a class project with the football team captain - Khun Eduan.

Some people like saying that high school is the best time of your life. Well, Jahad didn't really agree. He believed that was some kind of fake promise made up by adults, so kids would stop complaining about not sharing classes with their old friends anymore. Sure, meeting new people could be nice, but not for Jahad. He was never one of the popular kids, quite the opposite – they always considered him a freak. Maybe it happened because of his unusual fashion sense, or because he didn't talk too much. At some point he just stopped caring about it, it's not like high school cliques are going to last forever.
This day started like every other. Jahad woke up early, ate his breakfast, and checked his backpack for the last time to make sure that he didn't forget to pack any textbooks. When he was certain that he had everything he needed, he walked out of the house. Jahad lived quite closely to his high school, so he didn't have to take the bus. The blond considered it a good thing – at least he didn't have to spend more time than necessary with those obnoxious jocks from his year. One of them was particularly annoying – the one and only Khun Eduan. Everyone knew who he was, and Jahad wasn't really surprised by it. Popular, rich, the captain of the football team, and the biggest heartbreaker out there. Also, as Jahad liked to call him, a massive idiot. They shared a few classes together, and none of them could ever be peaceful when Eduan was around. He was either ignoring the teacher to talk to some of his equally annoying friends, or throwing paper balls at Jahad to get his attention. It was all bearable, though. Until one day the teacher decided that forcing them to do a project in pairs would be a good idea. Jahad stared blankly at the wall, praying to be teamed up with someone who won't make his blood boil every time they open their mouth. The gods must have taken a break that day, though.
Barely a few seconds have passed since the teacher stopped talking about the project, and immediately a familiar blue-haired individual appeared near Jahad's desk. “You're the lucky one that's doing the project with me!” Khun exclaimed, grinning widely.
Jahad sighed. “I'm bursting with excitement,” he said with the most emotionless voice he could get out of himself.
The smile on Eduan's face seemed even bigger now. Jahad wasn't sure if he was just in a good mood, or simply didn't understand irony. “Then it's settled. See you after class in the library, blondie!” Even with clear protests from Jahad, he still managed to tousle his hair before leaving. Not only was Eduan annoying, he apparently didn't understand what personal space meant, too.
Before Jahad could even notice, it was time to start the project. He headed towards the library, doubting if Khun was going to show up, not to mention help with anything. The blond entered the room, and, to his surprise, Eduan was already there. He noticed him as soon as the door closed, and smiled.
“Missed ya, blondie!” he said loudly, and received a disapproving stare from the librarian. Jahad looked at him in disbelieve – how hard could it be to stop shouting for a second? “Wanna start the project already or do you prefer to have a minute to admire my perfect face?”
Jahad felt his cheeks burning at the implication. “L-let's start the project,” he replied, trying not to sound too hesitantly. Maybe Eduan was pretty, but it didn't make any difference. Or at least that's what Jahad tried to tell himself. Okay, he wasn't just pretty. Eduan was literally gorgeous, especially with that confident look on his face. And damn, every time they made eye contact–
“Hey, blondie, you listening?” Eduan asked, making Jahad come back to senses.
“Sorry, I kinda zoned out,” Jahad gave him a half embarrassed, half apologetic look. “And I have a name, you know.”
Eduan chuckled, and tried to tousle his hair again. This time Jahad somehow managed to escape from him. “Yup, but blondie suits you better, blondie.”
Jahad gave up arguing with him. It's not like Eduan's going to listen anyway.
“Let's focus on the project,” he said, clearing his throat.
The task wasn't too hard compared to other projects they had been asigned before. On the contrary to the first impression Eduan gave, he was quite smart, and willing to help. He even seemed to be really keen on some aspects of the topics they were discussing. Jahad really didn't like generalizing people based off stereotypes, but that curious glimmer in Eduan's eyes surprised him. It's not hard to find students who love nerdy and schooly stuff, but they were rarely one of the football kids. Eduan was nice to talk to, and he didn't seem to mind Jahad's slightly apathetic behavior, or shyness. Yeah, he was really nice.
Khun yawned, closing one of the textbooks with a quiet thud. “We've been sitting here for so long, blondie,” he complained. “Let's finish this tomorrow or something.”
“Sure,” the blond nodded. If they're going to keep up their pace, they'll finish it way before the deadline anyway, so taking a break won't hurt.
Eduan stretched in the chair he was sitting on for a little too long. He looked like a cat waking up from a nap.
“By the way, blondie,” he turned his attention to Jahad.
“Huh?”
“It's nice talking and all, but sitting in the library is kinda boring. You wanna go out on the weekend? There's a few cool places we could go to,” he offered, and started playing with a loose strand of his hair. “Treat it like a date if you want to,” Eduan joked, and winked at him.
Jahad's brain short-circuited. Did he just–
“S-sure,” he barely managed to choke out, which Eduan seemed to find entertaining.
“I know I'm breath-taking, but jeez, you have to control yourself. We don't want you to pass out, blondie.”
Jahad wanted to at least try to not act like a disaster, but it was way more difficult than that stupid project. The more he stuttered when speaking, the more he wanted to punch himself.
It's just a dumb date, the heck is wrong with me?!
Jahad could clearly hear Eduan pretending not to laugh at his overreaction. Maybe high school wasn't that bad, after all.
So many things scared me in this chapter. It's too intense. First off,
My heart dropped when I thought about this for a second. I know everybody else is probably going to show up on another part of the train, but another part of me thought, what if only they made it back. Everyone else is erased in the hidden world (maybe that has to do with the "misfortune" that befalls all of Wagnan's comrades), and Bam and Wagnan are left in isolation, forced to start over at zero.
What kind of person would Bam be if he lost everyone he loved at this point in the game? How would he change? Man, that split second made me sad.
Now... The next thing that made me nervous was the concept of royal orders being delivered by altars, that happening right after this ordeal on the train, and those said orders say to destroy or kill a whole brach(family), everyone on the hell train, and FUG.
Dude, it's happening too fast...!
Oh. But I get it now. Dude, they're gonna kill everyone else on the hell train and only Bam and Wagnan are going to be preserved!

Many things happened in this week.
My birthday was last week, too, ha ha (thanks to everyone who celebrated it_ _)
I had some personal business to manage as well.. It feels good to have another week pass by and come back together with the work.
This week…
Bam got op, now he is even throwing some burnt coal like stuff;;;
… He still can’t fully control it,
and there is a time limit to it as well
(Just to clear up some confusion.. I don’t mean you lose the power if you leave the Hidden Floor ^^;; just in terms of the duration..)
Regardless, it sure is powerful.
There will be more transcendental techniques involving the thorn, as Bam collects more of them
I wanted to make some apparent changes
And thought it was a good idea to make the each thorn fragment more unique
But, currently, Bam can’t even handle one of them right ha ha
I got questioned about “How come Zahard and Eduan (data) have no problem flying but Bam can’t-"
Well, technically, Eduan and Zahard (data) aren’t flying either,
but using shinsoo to make their bodies buoyant and retain it. They are definitely more skilled than Baam though.
Regarding Bam’s Blue Oars’ new form, I am thinking of making them accelerate or somehow using them for attacks, rather than merely helping Bam float.
The battle between Bam and data Zahard is finally coming to its end
I wonder what kind of ending is waiting for them…
It might be something unexpected for the readers though, ha ha

Sweet, sweet Baam... Or Bam, I dunno. I’ll use the latter this time.
He’s easily one of my favorite characters in all media that I’ve consumed up to this point.
Why?
LOOK at him. Oh my god.
Anyway, I suppose it’s how gentle he is. His ability* would be Serene Grace if he were a Pokemon.
*I dunno about this hidden ability stuff. I’ve played gen 5-7 but man I’m not certified to talk about that business.
He isn’t as uncompromising or headstrong like the average shounen character. He doesn’t lecture people about how they should be, because he doesn’t know the answer either. His eyes are open (if not in wonderment and horror), simply absorbing what he sees; he becomes aware of his own faults and isn’t trying to carry himself as some all-righteous being. It’s tempting to become a god but is it what he really wants? Is it even possible? He’s pondering these things as he climbs up the tower.
Now, that being said, there are still some things he is hiding from us. A lot.
It’s true that in TOG many aspects of a person’s past don’t come to light until it’s necessary to explain. But Bam, hailing from the outside of the tower, has to be putting together certain things that he’s internalizing neither in internal dialogue nor to his teammates. Here’s an example of what I’m trying to say:
In some chapter flashback I recall Bam telling Rachel something to the effect that he’d show her a place in the cave where there are three huge eyes. To me, that sounds like the crest of Jahad. Now we’ve seen that very crest adorning the princesses’ hair pieces for example or on Wagnan’s and Karaka’s rings. Say the first time that Bam noticed them on one of his companions, he could have said something about it then--no but I suppose his priority was to remain as inconspicuous as possible to not be found out as an irregular. Even internal dialogue would have sufficed though; he could have been like “that looks familiar...” or something right? But we don’t get that from him.
What we did get is him as Viole--while giving Wagnan his ring back--saying that it seemed like something important. So he does recognize the significance of these items but he doesn’t raise the issue.
Rachel took this one step further. While the yellow prince and Miseng were being held by her team, she called him the Prince of the Red Light District, so SHE definitely knows a lot of secrets concerning the tower. I don’t know if Bam knows all of that. Probably not. Now may I transition this conversation from Bam’s individual character to an overarching theme?
I don’t necessarily want Bam’s entire life to have been orchestrated from a higher organization in the shadows, but after the deep sea fish/bull arc (established that tests are rigged, Hansung Yu’s significance, etc.) and then again with the Hoaqin arc (Gustang reporting to a hidden person about Rachel being given a power) I am getting that feeling. Here’s what I mean:
Currently Rachel’s motivations don’t make sense. I think Bam is supposed to chase her, and for this reason she doesn’t give him answers as to WHY she has done what she has done. This in turn frustrates Bam to keep seeking answers (think to the confrontation before Rachel boarded the train and the thorn went berserk: face to face, she seemed to have trouble coming up with inflammatory words to say to my boi. All the fist clenching and having to build up resolve against him. When she’s being a little h0 elsewhere it doesn’t take all that to throw insults or act crazy and stab up somebody’s legs. And I think Bam is so persistent because he knew her personally and is calling bullshit on the things she said like “uhh y0u wEre suPposed to be de@D” like she really means that? Bam’s like Hell no get real with me girl what the hell is going on? But she wouldn’t tell ‘im and he got mad mad mario. (watch that if you haven’t)). They were friends on good terms, and they could have gone up the tower together. She doesn’t want Bam around her, and this is why I think that is:
There’s some sort of bet. Or conditions, whatever you want to call it. I believe, especially because of that new information we got from Eduan (Hansung Yu’s data telling him that V’s son would eventually come through the data world), that Rachel is simply the motivation for Bam to go up. He had to have a reason to enter the tower, and whatever organization found out about his existence chose Rachel to be the person who groomed him and became dear to him. She knows about Arlene Grace, the secret of the 13 months and rings, etc, so I think she is personally invested in this process of changing the tower and accepted this role but with bitterness that Bam would be the main character so to speak.
I’m thinking that whatever deal she made with Headon and others, it wasn’t to eliminate Bam. She had many opportunities to do that herself, even with the Hoaqin arc concerning the lava (Khun even mentioned that if she hates him that much she could have raised the level of lava as he was diving down and killed him). And if higher ups wanted him dead they could have easily done that. No, they FABRICATED his death and made a new slayer candidate. So for whatever reason, she’s chosen Hoaqin as her “sword” rather than Bam and wants Bam to lose--I’m thinking that if she fulfills what the organization (FUG or perhaps someone else) wants in her own way before Bam (their choice) does, then her wish, whatever it is, will be granted even though she’s not allowed to be in the tower. Otherwise, the higher ups who are running things will be like “honey you were just fodder for the big guns, you can step aside now~ We told you you couldn’t do sh!t. Wasted our time on you...well at least we still got what we wanted.” And that’s probably why she fights so hard against his success.
Hansung Yu is another dude to look out for; he knows a lot of stuff and he’s with FUG man, like he’s DEEP in the system with his test director ass. He was sitting there waiting for Bam to walk through, wait for the betrayal, and snatch his pretty self to FUG. I’m so sh0ok.
Ok dang this has gone off topic. Well my purpose was to say that Bam is so sweet and cute and he’s hiding stuff from us but actually everyone’s hiding stuff from us so f!ck all of you for being so mysterious. I’m going to post something else about him soon so uh stay tuned if you do that. My number one series hands down, thank you SIU.

Hi, this is SIU.
This is the Season 2 Chapter 285’s postscript. Today’s drawing is Edahn and Zahard’s data, who made the appearances at the end of this chapter..
Some people say “Why are you making drawings for postscripts when you are in bad shape”..
But, compared to how long ToG has been publishing, there isn’t much merchandise to buy
So I feel bad about it, and try to show various portrayals of the characters in the postscripts at least. That’s why I am receiving requests and stuff.. I do try to find other ways, but things just do not work out like I want them to ^^;
As I am concerned about these and trying hard by myself, I hope that some day in future, others can learn about a Manhwa called the Tower of God, and they can be with their favourite characters anytime and anywhere.

Maybe it’s because he’s wearing the President Pororo’s [see TN] mask, data Zahard is indeed strong.
About data Zahard, readers who had read today’s episode probably have noticed,
Gold is his signature color.
Like Arie’s silver white, and Khun’s blue..
It will revealed in the future, but these colours have close relationships to Shinsu that each Family Head uses.
For hair colour, sometimes it’s the same, sometimes it’s not…
Anyway, despite his playful appearance, Zahard has beat up a kid..
Bam is indeed a bold person, as soon as he meets data Zahard,
he messes with the most delicate part of Zahard.
Well.. as a result he is beat up quite badly in this chapter ^^;;
Bam should grow up fast and become someone similar to the 10 Family Heads.
It looks like there will be data Edahn in the next episode.
Whether data Edahn becomes team Bam’s savior,
or data Zahard gets to know Bam’s identity,

So I will briefly explain what Pororo is for those who don’t know.
Pororo is a popular kids show in Korea, and also the name of the show’s main character.
The character became so popular with kids, and has been nicknamed as “the President Pororo.”
Google Pororo and you will see what he looks like.
Pororo’s goggles became SIU’s inspiration for Zahard’s mask.
