And Tadashi’s version of “fixing” him is unknowingly justifying/adding  onto his trauma. Langa’s version of “fixing” him is befriending him. I would love to compare both of them in the future.

tried to push down his gay attraction in America and forced himself to like the idea of being with a woman (hence ‘Eve’). There must’ve been some trauma as well which caused him to further convince himself that his authentic love for men is bad. However when he came back to Japan, Adam had to face his overwhelming attraction to men, but tried to bottle it down rather than dealing with it in a healthy way.  When he finally met Langa, his emotions were at its tipping point, thus causing him to project onto the teen
