My favourite time to fly is at night ..... Particularly in cool, clean and smooth air ....... Having a #NightRating means that I am able@to fly after sunset and before sunrise. A completely different view on the world. I like to maintain an altitude which allows me time to consider options should I encounter any issues in flight. Anyone recognise the view? York Minster looking absolutely radiant from 3000 feet on an @edenflighttraining 90 minute Experience Flight from our base at #TeessideAirport for a customer who had never flown before ...... Another beautiful example of gothic architecture in the North of England. Opened in 637AD and also known as the Cathedral and Metropolitical Church of Saint Peter, the building is one of the largest of its kind in Northern Europe. The City of York is one of my favourite cities to visit; If you haven’t tried it yet, it is absolutely beautiful and well worth a visit once restrictions lift and you can do so safely. Very lucky to be able to fly over such beautiful places. A huge WELL DONE to one of our PPL Students, Tim Reid who successfully completed his Qualifying Cross Country Flight with us @edenflighttraining yesterday ....... ROUTE: Teesside International to Humberside International to Gamston, returning to Teesside International. Great planning meant that the weather was comprehensively checked and the flight meticulously planned to return (with contingency) before the weather front came in. Next steps, exercise completion, mock Skills Test and then the Skills Test proper .... A fantastic day of flying yesterday @edenflighttraining after very nearly not going ahead due to weather forecasts. A number of students and Experience Flight Customers flown and a real mix of route requests to test the navigation skills .... helped of course by the trusty SkyDemon and the eagle eyes of our passengers (particularly one who apparently can’t see a text message but can spot a green skip from 10 miles 😁) ...... Tailoring our routes for our customers is something we love doing .... Another busy day of flying planned in for today.
