A fantastic day of flying yesterday @edenflighttraining after very nearly not going ahead due to weather forecasts. A number of students and Experience Flight Customers flown and a real mix of route requests to test the navigation skills .... helped of course by the trusty SkyDemon and the eagle eyes of our passengers (particularly one who apparently can’t see a text message but can spot a green skip from 10 miles 😁) ...... Tailoring our routes for our customers is something we love doing .... Another busy day of flying planned in for today. It’s not often that these four football clubs’ stadia are detailed on the same page, but our @edenflighttraining North East stadia tour by air is another firm favourite of our Experience Flight customers. Arriving at #TeessideInternationalAirport in good time for a full introduction and safety briefing from your pilot, and then departing the runway for an hours flight in either our two or four seat aircraft around the beautiful North East to see all four (@darlingtonfc @theboroofficial @nufc @sunderlandafcofficial or just the stadium of your choosing if your eyes would be offended looking into the inner soul of a “rival” ground). With lots of opportunity for photography on route and overhead, this is a fantastic way to try flying or just kick back and enjoy the view yourself or as a gift for a football lover. One of my very favourite @edenflighttraining #ExperienceFlights is our exciting and exhilarating #Dambuster flight. Departing out and climbing to the north west from our base at #TeessideInternationalAirport we fly up the dale and then turn south east and descend to fly over the reservoirs and dams at #Baldersdale, recreating a Dambuster style mission whilst maintaining and observing Minimum Safe Altitudes (Operation Chastise of 17th May 1943) with some great opportunities for photographs and video...... then, departing the area to the north east we fly to and around the fantastic @cityofdurham and @durhamcathedral, returning to the south to land you back at our base thereafter ... opportunities arise during the flight for you to take control of the aeroplane (if you wish and after a full safety briefing and demonstration) and #TryFlying with our experienced pilots covering the dual controls at all times to@ensure your safety ...
