Quick Notes: Chapter 106
Summer break is over for me and EZ’s off break too. Let’s go!
Xiaomei is back! This is her coolest apperance yet.
“Thinking back on it, this is the first time our Demon King... really acted the part, isn’t it?” I’ve been thinking the same thing for a while now.
Rebecca’s memories line up well with chapter 49. It’s been over a year since that chapter.
Honestly, I feel like I may switch between “Kris and Kleene” and “Jinn and Sylph” depending on how I feel week to week.
“Huh? I thought I made friends with him. Didn’t I?” To be honest, I felt the same way, but it makes sense they aren’t.
I often forget what Witch looks like under the helmet.
Knowing the memories for this journey were erased is continuously disturbing. Mashima is cruel with these types of things.
Poseidon? Ruler of a Water Cosmos? And a member of the Oracion Seis Galactica? This can’t end well...
Of course Nero’s also an emperor. The biggest shock is that Sister isn’t worried about meeting him. (You either get the reference or you don’t.)
I can’t tell how I’m supposed to feel about the Oracion Seis Galactica. They’re all not great people, but they range from “pure evil” to “I steal because I can’t work a ship properly”.
I need to remind myself that Justice is important to this series as Siegrain number whatever we’re on at this point, we see them so little in their series.
“We’re having a prayer council.” Mashima misses obvious opportunity to call these prayer meetings. Though, the name works all things considered.
This series has two Oracion Seis? It’s not that I’m against it, I’m just confused? Mashima couldn’t come up with another name?
“Aww, you’re so in love.” Thing fandom has been saying since before the series started somehow makes it into the actual series. Pat yourselves on the back shippers.
If you think Justice seeking revenge for what Elsie’s done to him is reason to stop shipping them, you haven’t heard of enemies-to-lovers. Or Jerza.
I’m ashamed to admit it took me the third time through this chapter to get why the fire planet might be covered in water.
See you!
Meet (half, admittedly) of the OTHER Oracion Seis!
