Quick Notes: Chapter 18

Happy Reformation Day, folks. (Or Halloween I guess...) Let’s go!

Am I supposed to be shocked Rebecca got Shiki to play a game and is winning? Or is she winning?

“Master... I recommend caution. We don’t know the enemy’s strength.“ Shiki has literally beat every enemy he’s come up against. What is there to be worried about?

Having recently started watching Yu Yu Hakusho, it feels weird to see our protagonist get thrown into the middle of traffic.

“Gravity Ether Gear.“ I mean, it could be Spider Ether Gear. Shiki’s actions are close to Spiderman’s aside from web-slinging.

“Ninjas are awesome!!!!“ Twelve-year-old me’s reaction to watching Naruto for the first time.

“Don’t drag innocent bystanders into this.“ We interrupt your manga experience to bring you Batman vs. Superman/Civil War.

“Your life has been spared for now.“ So, do you want beef or chicken?

Seriously, what the heck is the purpose of using the word “glomp” here?

You know, I came into doing this knowing what happens to Happy, and I still wasn’t ready for it going through this chapter again.

A nice touch is that you see Shiki’s arm activate Ether Gear when the table falls.

Seeing this person reminds me that we haven’t seen Xiaomei in a while. Wonder when we’ll see her next?

I wish I knew any of these other B-Cubers. I do not wish to know about the “Don’t Push” button.
