Quick Notes: Chapter 99

I love it when a good chapter comes out. This was definitely a good chapter.

So I’ve started playing Ultra Moon and there’s a feature where you surf on a Pokemon. I’d love to see how Shiki’s surfing tricks would look.

Drakken Joe definitely looks dried up without so much life in him. Usually, people in his state are said to be “washed up”. (This was almost phrased as a burn.)

“It might take time... but even so, if someone reaches out... I think it’s possible to be friends with anybody.” I’m mad this is my philosophy on redemption in a nutshell.

I’m not saying that Weisz wouldn’t be justified in shooting Drakken Joe. Mashima doesn’t have it in him to write a character do that. As an example, I cite Kurenai.

I need to remind myself that Amira and Homura met each other.

I’m still not sure if I like Shiki being able to tap into Rebecca’s old memories.

“The organization that that... Miss Amira came from. They took him into custody.” There has to be a better way to phrase that. It’s proper grammar but still...

Yet another drawback to the different timelines clashing. Sibir and Weisz are correct.

It’s cute to think that Rebecca and Happy were the things Weisz found that made him change, but Sibir’s likely describing events before the accident.

And just like that, Weisz joins Musica and Gray in the “main crew member with a meaningful necklace gang”. Among other similarities they have.

“Now that you mention it, what did Connor do? I’m amazed he didn’t turn up in any of this.” Thing I’ve definitely wondered is repeated by a character in the series.

When I heard this happened, I had to edit part of my EZ Week post.
