this is kai! he is my airbnb roomie. i saw his half-empty food bowl and litter tray when i checked in but didn’t see any sign of cat all afternoon despite searching the flat.

at 10pm he barged into my room (still dunno how he got the door open) and demanded cuddles. then he hogged half the bed for the rest of the night

the exhausted/appalled faces of tourists when they walk from waverley station and make that turn into cockburn street... that's literally me w a suitcase every year

i.... have seen too many comedians' butts tonight

1. i really liked mark watson's new WIP show! it's about his time on The Island and the lessons he learnt from the experience, told all TED talk style-ish with powerpoint slides and video clips (lots of mentions to how crap he is at powerpoint, mainly because Horne was too busy with Taskmaster to help him out)

2. first time seeing jamali maddix live (i only knew him from appearances on brendon burns' podcast). very funny dude

3. andrew maxwell's hair seems less annoying than usual. also, his material about his conspiracy theory show - is that new??? could've sworn that show came out ages ago

4. ciaran dowd's don rodolfo is an excellent hour of character comedy. so much fun with a magnificent twist at the end.

1. saw paul williams today! I've had his album on repeat for months now so to actually see him in person was surreal lol. his show is silly and delightful and his voice is a joy to listen to

2. i unexpectedly resonated w evelyn mok's show way too much 😅 when she started talking about being hit by her parents with a bamboo stick i basically got transported back to being 7 years old again. christ. (yea it's a chinese thing)

3. kiri pritchard-mclean's show was holyyyyy shitttt SO GOOD. i won't say much of its contents bc Spoilers but it was INTENSE and FUNNY and i nearly wept at the end from all the feels
