It's so funny when everyone makes fun of Aerion for drinking wildfire to turn into a dragon but nobody mentions how Egg did it worse. At least Aerion only risked and sacrificed himself. Egg was blabbering how Aerion thinking himself a dragon in human form was nonsense, probably said the same thing about him drinking wildfire, but then went and repeated the same thing amplified tenfold by attempting to hatch dragons by wildfire and wiped out himself, his whole family and his friends. Why is Aerion the only one called mad when none of those siblings were sane.

Lowkey this maybe a controversial opinion but I personally want Summerhall to be some fucked up shit on Aegon’s part and not just some accident went wrong. I want him to actually try and sacrifice something for the dragons, whatever it may be, but I think it would be a more interesting story if he truly was getting sucked into the dragons and as a result started doing some very questionable things.
