@hellcheeranniversaryweek day 1: d&d room.

even though she never ends up playing, claiming she’s not creative enough to keep up (which eddie vehemently disagrees with, but he’s learned to pick his battles), chrissy loves sitting in the d&d room for the weekly hellfire sessions.

the first time she showed interest in going, eddie insisted that she sit on his lap on his throne (“it’s where princesses belong, sweetheart”), and she entertained him for about five minutes before he started moving and jostling her around. instead, she found a bean bag in the corner that looked not too destroyed, and since then got the best view in the house of eddie in his element, in complete control of the story he was guiding his little sheep through, reminding them of the rules and consequences should they not follow them, and providing them with a safe place to be creative, make mistakes and engage in their interests without judgement.

almost unconsciously, chrissy always sits with her legs firmly crossed.

and to their luck, at the end of the night after the party goes home, the bean bag fits two.
