Edith MacDonald came across these pine marten kits while on a walk in Perthshire.
One half of me has been waiting at Wilden these latter days while the other half has been in the turmoil of the world, but now I have a quiet afternoon in which to thank God for so peaceful a release and to picture the passing of her soul on this day of exquisite beauty to a happiness beyond her dreams. The tranquility and the fragrance of this spring day are so symbolical of her life.
