Here's Edith with her flags :D I fear the text might be difficult to read like sasalele so it's saying trans women's rights are women's rights but ykw you can interpret as trans rights women's are women's rights or trans rights women's women's are rights or however you want to read it have fun more yapping about her identity under the cut if you wanna read it :]

She's a vampire(vampires are lycanthropes in my universe) and she realized she's trans shortly after faking her death the first time so to avoid raising suspicion that there's something different with her, she shapeshifted(vampires have minor shapeshifting abilities, all lycanthropes do) to look like a woman since she thought it would be the best way to do so Lo and behold, she suddenly felt a lot more confident and was like "huh."

Also! I actually drew her arms under the flag and i wanted to show that off because she looks pretty :]

Small rant abt her and Edith's story under the cut

The name given is a lie shes not the high vampress shes the high blood mage I changed it

Ok so basically she invented the form of magic only vampires have full access to, where using blood they gain some shapeshifting, can pause their aging, and even use it offensively if needed since vampires in my universe are basically werebats, they're a form of lycanthropy

Before she discovered blood magic, they were literally like any other lycanthrope, except they couldn't shift between a more humanoid form and a more animalistic one, instead stuck in a weird in-between

Also another thing about Lycanthropy whoever spread the curse to someone else is able to force the person they spread the curse to to do 3 favors for them and summon them at any time long as both are alive

Because of that along with having discovered blood magic, the high blood mage is one of the most powerful lycanthropes in the world and has been alive for over 1000 years, taking on different identities over the years and always watching for new victims to make vampires who work under her. Then she met Edith, who went by Edsel and identified as a man at the time, and who had recently returned from WWI, feeling incredibly guilty about having briefly had a relationship with a man fighting on the other side. With the time, he felt guilty for doing that both because it was a man and because he was against what Edsel had been drafted to fight for. He was scared that he'd go to hell for it, and, especially having seen so many people die by his and the other soldiers' hands, was terrified at the mere thought of death.

One day, however, while working at his location of his family's bar, the High Blood Mage, disguised as a normal human woman, "noticed" he was upset, and asked him what was wrong. He responded, and she told him she could help if he followed her into the alleyway. Out of desperation and some degree of misogyny preventing the thought that she may hurt him, Edsel agreed and followed, only for her to bite him, cut up his arms, and drink the blood until he passed out, but remained alive.

When Edsel woke up, he didn't feel great, but figured that was just some sort of strange dream. Sure, he felt hairier than usual, his teeth felt sharp, and everything was brighter and louder but- then he saw himself in the mirror. And a more batlike version of the woman he saw last night behind him.

That's enough writing for now enjoy that cliffhanger anyway yeah funfact since the High Blood Mage is very much more powerful than Edsel/Edith, she grows out of that misogyny soon enough also she does not realize shes a woman until like the 30's-40's ish👍👍👍👍

and then for the High Blood Mage aside from what she does for Edith and the whole inventing blood magic thing I do not have much about her yet so stay tuned chat
