Premise: This takes place loosely after the Gold Goblin mini-series, a Norman Osborn first-person narrative. Redemption Song is a story about trying to become a better person, loss, grief, and learning what it takes to become a hero. How do you prove to yourself and the world that you've changed?
Summary: Norman Osborn was considered the most evil and demented man, "Was" being a keyword. Now that his sins are cleansed, he struggles with mental illness, the ghosts of his past indiscretions and solitude. No one wants to be alone, not even Norman. Peter Parker has made it clear he will keep an eye on Norman, but if he slips up even once, it's all over for him. How can he recover when no one will allow him to improve? Is it the destiny of the damned to live alone and full of regret?
Everyone says they love a redemption story, but no one wants to see Norman try. Norman persists, and maybe someone will believe he can improve.
