If I had to ship Edward Elric with a girl(Edward gives me too many demisexual vibes with leanings towards guys) it would probably be Rose but the fma 2003 version of her:

I mean just look at her. Plus I just love her character in the 2003 version. So good. Plus her moments with Ed is everything. I love their cute little dancing scene in the 2003 version. And than meeting another version of her in the movie!

Tbh i love ed with any combination of these fuckers:

Roy, ling, russell, winry, alfons heidriech, rose, noah (Personally can’t see ed having a sexual relationship with rose or noah but love their relationship in canon, ed loves them both very much and they love him)

pretty much i will ship any ship with ed if the person has shown to genuinely wants his happiness (outside of incest ships, and yes this means I don’t see alfons as the same person as alphonse). I may even ship them all together in one big poly pile if i feel ed needs all the love.

i know it looks shippy but really even a platonic hug would do (actually i might even prefer it). just. let them see each other so each knows the other’s okay before he goes back. that would have been nice.
