Me: and you see, im aware that our public education system is screwed up and for that reason it would probably be better for me, from an employee support standpoint, to work at a private school; HOWEVER. The fact that the system IS so messed up makes me feel as though i can make more of a difference as a teacher by working in underprivileged communities, so I’m really not sure yet which type of school i want to work at, and tbh with the current job market it’s more about what jobs are even willing to take me as a first-year teacher—-
