“- Edvard is constantly trying to prove himself against other's expectations. He also has a very clear persona that he displays when he wants people to take his innoventions seriously (although it crumbles in blind rage the second anybody mentions Astor, of course) that reminds me somewhat of transmasc posturing.

- The Crimsnight episode!! Edvard seeing his childhood self touches me so much. "Okay so in Silent Knight, there is a tavern sign of a nude Dob with a strategically painted bunch of grapes and a vine in front of his genitals, but the guild make jokes leading to Dob double-checking if his genitals have like, deformed or have a illness to them for lack of a better word, and according to Johnny "Everything is as you expect to find it." which Luke repeats and Andy points out "Doesn't mean everything is good.". Anyway, they roll past that and it got me thinking, what if Dob is intersex and that his variation of his intersexuality has to do with his genitals? And like he's been in the woods his whole life and raised by his sister who was a child at the time, there's no way he's been forced into have like "correction surgeries" that I'm aware a lot of intersex people are forced to have. He's also not implied to have a very active sex life so it's unlikely a sexual partner would have pointed it out. Though, he is implied to have been with Katie sexually and I doubt she would have pointed out that Dob's genitals might be different than what she expected because she was trying to sell him on the idea that they were in true, perfect love and saying "hey, why is your penis like that?" wouldn't help her make him fall in love with her so she'd be better off keeping it to herself. So there's not really a reason he would know that anything is not the norm.”
