“- Edvard is constantly trying to prove himself against other's expectations. He also has a very clear persona that he displays when he wants people to take his innoventions seriously (although it crumbles in blind rage the second anybody mentions Astor, of course) that reminds me somewhat of transmasc posturing.

- The Crimsnight episode!! Edvard seeing his childhood self touches me so much. At first he is reluctant to see his childhood self, which sort of lends itself to the idea that Edvard is afraid because maybe it's a version of himself he doesn't want to see anymore (pre-transition). But Lilith says "Wouldn't you be so happy if you knew what you grew up into?" and I get very emotional imagining a sad little trans boy seeing an adult trans man for the first time and realizing there is a way

Zillah felt herself bristle at the mention of Astor's name. She hadn't liked the way the older alpha looked at Edvard over the brim of his glasses, like he was looking at a steaming sausage on a platter rather than a person. She sensed something darker lurked behind the words, but Edvard wouldn't elaborate right now. That wasn't the current object of his focus. She remembered his last heat when she found him frantically digging through boxes for vials of suppressants, and how she thought he was going to burst into tears when she offered to go to the apothecary for him so his scent wouldn't get him picked up off the street.

"Is this really the easiest way?" She asked.

Edvard's voice held firm, "I won't jeopardize the mission." I won't jeopardize my work.

I love rewatching oxventure in the dark because it without a doubt makes me think about Anabelle like non-stop and I'll start to worry about if Edvard will be a good step-dad to her what with his angry outbursts and jumping to insult people and things like that but then he fixes his child self's first ever model and gently talks to him and suggests a very fun way to play with the working hose, and then he brings armfuls of biscuits and puzzle books and crosswords and coloring books for their long trip to the deathlands that he specifies are for everyone so feel free to take one, and then he lets Mumbles and Thistle sit on each of his knees while he's having fun driving the train and lets them do the steam whistle. Like every time I'd start to worry, he'd be gentle and kind to a child, it's so nice.

Promptober Day 1: Moustache (Inktober)

The only one who has only a mustache and not a beard is dear Edvard, and I haven't drawn my dear mad lad in so long.

I like to pick and choose what I draw, so promptober will be whatever prompt of the day I prefer from which list. And make it Oxventure related.
