I think I want to be a hedgehog, in the way that all my favourite composers are sort of hedgehog-coded, if you understand.. Grieg - the most delightful hedgehog Debussy - a very sentimental hedgehog Ravel - hedgehog of a sort, maybe with like adderall Szymonowski - this bit I'm doing is falling apart Scriabin - uhhh maybe? Ok it's not necessarily true but I still want to be a hedgehog
Mischa Maisky & Martha Argerich plays Edvard Grieg - Cello Sonata in A minor, Op. 36 (Verbier Festival 2008)
In this video, I played exposition from E. Grieg's Sonata in e-moll. This is one of my favorite compositions that I played.
Soon, I will record the full video of it, too. So, stay tuned for more!

I dont have anyone I can really share this with IRL who would fully appreciate how EXCELLENT this performance is so I hope through the tags this gets to the right people.
Absolutely incredible playing here, and I like that the arrangement is also giving the Lead Voice to different people across the score so everyone gets a chance to shine!
